"Both teams are going to make plays and both teams are going to stop each other out there. I thought that was the story of the two goal-line stands. You could be critical of the offenses, I suppose, but I thought it was great defense by both their part and our part," he continued.

They are, in so many ways, everything the Hoosiers (4-4) aspire to be.

Are drunk students kicking down your door? - I've had enough. Over the course of our time in Iowa City, we have witnessed countless acts of violence, vandalism and conduct unbecoming of any responsible person. This is not "kids just being kids." It is drunk students, encouraged by a permissive drinking culture and acting without fear of university sanction, causing mayhem within the very city that welcomes them and among the very people who teach them.

Who’s the bigger loss: Dace Richardson or Adam Robinson? [The Daily Iowan] - Dace Richardson is damn good.  You may not realize the oft-injured guard has played three different positions for the Hawkeyes this year. Maybe you didn’t know the senior has started every single game along a carousel of an offensive line this season. And it’s because of this versatility and consistency the Hawkeyes are succeeding.

Big Ten Halloween primer [ESPN] - Witchcraft: Iowa has had the magic all season long, rallying for seven of its eight victories and winning four games by four points or fewer.
