This was Iowa's 55th straight dual win.
Brent Metcalf put on a wrestling clinic, like usual. He scored a sweet pin in his match that sent Carver Hawkeye Arena into a frenzy. The student section was hilarious last night, berating Sanderson at every opportunity.
Montell Marion lost his match in overtime when the ref awarded PSU's Adam Lynch with a takedown. Phil Keddy was Iowa's other loss. Both losses were very, very close matches.

Iowa guard Anthony Tucker returned to practice on Monday, but Coach Todd Lickliter still doesn't know what the future holds for him.
Tucker was suspended indefinitely after being arrested and pleading guilty to a public intoxication incident in late December. It was the second such arrest in the last year for the 20 year old.
"As far as the university goes, he’d be eligible to play," Lickliter said at his weekly press conference. "I'm not comfortable with it. I wouldn’t rule it out, but I haven’t made that decision yet."
Lickliter hinted that Tucker might have some life issues to deal with before jumping back onto the court in the limelight again. "Anthony is going to have pull himself out of this."
The team has moved on since Tucker's suspension and seem to be finding a groove without him in the lineup. The Hawkeyes have won three of their last four.
Of course, having the second leading scorer back in the mix might help the trend continue. But, for now, it seems Lickliter is content just having Tucker help out in practice.

Sneak Peek: Iowa vs Arizona in 2010 [Hawkeye Nation] - The first thing that jumps out at you when examining Arizona for next year is what they were able to accomplish in 2009; they finished 8-5 with a 33-0 loss to Nebraska in their bowl game, but they have to feel good about their 8-4 record, which was also a 6-3 mark in the Pac 10. That’s progress for Mike Stoops, at least in my opinion.
IU senses brighter days ahead: But Lickliter's Hawkeyes are young and hungry - Player transfers have stripped the team of veteran leadership. Only one senior (Devan Bawinkel) and one junior (Jarryd Cole) have played this season. The core of the team is freshmen and sophomores.

Top-ranked Iowa wrestling team breezes past No. 25 Purdue - With defending national champion and No. 1 ranked Iowa in town to face No. 25 Purdue at Lowell High School, the feeling was just that much sweeter for Red Devils senior wrestler Nathan Cleveland.
Despite 20 turnovers, the Iowa Hawkeyes managed to completely dominate the Indiana Hoosiers in the Assembly Hall tonight, 58-43.
It was a much-needed win for the Hawkeyes, who had not won a Big Ten road game since March of 2008. This victory also ended a school-record 15-game road losing streak, dating back to November 2008.
The last time Iowa won in Assembly Hall was Feb. 11, 2006.
Does the victory mean there is a small beam of light starting to form at the end of the losing tunnel in Hawkeye basketball?
The Hawkeye faithful sure hope so. So does Todd Lickliter.
